The General Secretariat is composed of the Secretary General, the Heads of Chapters as well as the appointees by the Secretary General for specific tasks. The boundaries of the Chapters generally overlap with those of dioceses except for a few geographical considerations.  Each Chapter is composed of many branches that are confined to specific parishes. The chapters are widespread over all the Antioch an See in Syria and Lebanon.

.

With all the chapters represented and under the patronage of his eminence the patriarch, the OYM convention is held. Priests and Abbotts of the Orthodox monasteries are also invited. The convention entrusts the general secretariat with the implementation of its resolutions. This annual convention is the high decision body of the Orthodox Youth Movement. It sets the vision, the general guidelines and assesses the programs of the movement.
